The Planning and Resources Division is responsible for strategic planning, budget management, billet management, cyber resources management, cyber requirements planning, human capital program management, and training. The division partners with industry and other government agencies to enhance cyberspace mission and business capabilities, is responsible for advising on issues of interest and concern for those assigned to the CG Cyberspace Operations Program, and participates in major acquisitions for CG-wide C5 infrastructure services.
The Cyberspace Operations Policy Division (CG-7913) develops, validates, and publishes policy for CG Cyberspace operations with focus on CG’s Cyber Strategy line of effort of Defend Cyberspace. These policies focus on Defense Of Cyberspace Operations (DCO), DoD Information Network (DoDIN) Operations, Offensive Cyber Operations, and Cyber Protection of the Maritime Transportation System. Additionally, CG-7913 serves as the program manager for all Cyberspace forces and is the Sponsor’s Representative for the Command and Control, Computers, Communication, Cyber and Intelligence (C5I) Enterprise Mission Platform (EMP), a capital asset which CGCYBER operates, maintains, secures and defends.
Cyber Strategy Division is responsible for Cyber Strategic Outlook Implementation; strategic communications for CG-791; intelligence integration; the MTS Cyber International Engagement Program (CIEP); interagency relations; and exercises.
