Domestic & Offshore Compliance (CG-CVC-1)

Outer Continental Shelf

In accordance with the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (OCSLA), 43 U.S.C. § 1331 et. seq., and numerous Memorandum of Understanding and Agreement with the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Coast Guard promulgates and enforces safety and security regulations governing units, including Vessels, Fixed Platforms, Floating Production Facilities, and Mobile Offshore Drilling Units (MODUs) when operating on the U.S. OCS.

In an effort to ease the burden on those who have OCS equities we have now consolidated all pertinent OCS inspection information on one web page located on the Outer Continental Shelf National Center of Expertise (OCS NCOE) website.

Questions regarding OCS activities should be sent to CG-CVC-1 at cgcvc@uscg.mil
