Fishing Vessel Safety Division (CG-CVC-3)

 

Mission

The Office of Fishing Vessel Safety (CG-CVC-3) implements policy and regulations for the Commercial Fishing Vessel (CFV) industry with the goal of achieving a significant reduction in CFV fatalities, vessel losses and damage to the environment through outreach efforts, training, dockside examinations and at-sea boardings.
