As part of the National Vessel Documentation Center’s (NVDC’s) ongoing customer service improvement effort, NVDC’s UNMATCHED MAIL REQUEST PROCESS will be converted to an on-demand, self-service function on or before January 1, 2023.

After January 1, 2023, NVDC will no longer respond to individual UNMATCHED MAIL inquiries.

Customers will continue to conduct vessel searches via the United States Coast Guard’s (USCG’s) Port State Information Exchange (PSIX) self-service application (updated each Monday evening) and found here: http://cgmix.uscg.mil/PSIX/PSIXSearch.aspx.

As a reminder, searches yielding no results indicate that the PSIX system was unable to locate a documented vessel using the information provided.  Searches may be refined at any time.
