Domestic Ports Division

Mission Statement:

Develop and implement programs to prevent safety, security, and environmental incidents in the maritime arena and to protect continued vitality of the Marine Transportation System. We do this by administering and managing port, commercial onshore and offshore facility, cargo safety, security and environmental protection compliance programs; policy and field guidance for Coast Guard field activities, oversight of third parties, and leadership in industry partnerships and advisory committees.


Branches:

The Domestic Ports Division (CG-FAC-1) branches are:

  • Critical Infrastructure (Cyber Security, AMSCs and PSS oversight)   
  • Port Resiliency/Recovery (MTSR, Homeport/AWS/CART, and PSSR oversight)
