Providing Navigation Safety for the Mariner

The Office of Navigation Systems (CG-NAV) reports directly to the Director of Marine Transportation Systems Management (CG-5PW), which falls under the Assistant Commandant for Prevention Policy (CG-5P) at the U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington D.C. Three divisions report to CG-NAV: the Aids to Navigation and PNT Division (CG-NAV-1), the Navigation Standards Division (CG-NAV-2), and the Navigation Technology and Risk Management Division (CG-NAV-3).
