TugSafe Job Aids

TugSafe is designed to assist with preparation, completion and documentation of Subchapter M inspections or surveys of towing vessels by generating a custom requirement list for a specific towing vessel.

The TugSafe International Addendum is a no guess way to verify a towing vessel is in substantial compliance with international conventions.

Both of these job aids are available for use by industry and Coast Guard. If you have questions about how to comply with requirements contact your local Officer in Charge Marine Inspection (OCMI), the nearest District Towing Vessel Safety Specialist or the TVNCOE.
