CG-ODO-2: Maritime Security (Counterterrorism) Division


 

The Counterterrorism Division serves as the lead for policy and requirements to prepare Coast Guard forces to Confront Irregular Challenges, support Irregular Warfare, and when required, directly support counterterrorism. The division acts as the Service proponent for missions requiring advanced tactical skills including response to terrorist incidents or response to incidents involving Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD).
